Jury Awards $2.4M in First Chinese Drywall Trial

A Florida couple has been awarded more than $2.4 million in damages after the nation’s first jury trial of a Chinese drywall lawsuit. Attorneys say the case will set important legal standards for similar lawsuits. (June 18)

@FrankieD2000 True, it started with a short devil named Milton Friedman who postulated the silly idea that high finance and unfettered trade would boost America into a new wealth paradigm. Well… it did for the owners of capital or that special 1-2% however for those who occupy the rest of that pyramid, our wealth has been confiscated by 1… China and 2… Americans who ship jobs to China/India. And now they’ve turned Americans against their own interests vis a vis the Tea Bagger movement.
