Yes, “Mud” is just a term us sheetrock finishers call joint compound. Its the same compound that you buy everywhere. “hot mud” is a term we have for “fast setting-type” compound which come in a powder form and set up within the time frame on the bag. In the United States we have compounds that come in ” 20, 45, 90, 210 minute form and it is good for patching or doing small walls because it sets up quickly and allows you to do another coat without waiting for the compound to dry. thanks for telling us how to do that. Why do you call it mud? Isnt it jointing compound? and what is hot mud?and its european equiv?
